Can't wait to get this freaggin month of December to be over with...!!!!


It has been a very stressful month for me.... mentally and physically.... which I won't go into details....


Still can't find the good spirit to usher the New Year.... I'm going to go to bed early tonight and sleep it off..... I guess I'm one of the unhappiest people in the world.... FML...!!!!

I'm officially a "LOTION FANATIC".... If you have known me for a long long time... you would have known by now that when I'm into "something".... I would go overboard with it.



Like the recently "Victoria Secret's" craze.... First, I was crazy with their bras.... then I spent quite a bit on their panties.... especially when they are on sale (5 for $25)....


And lately, I'm into their clothing.... and bought two dresses online...!?!?!?!


It's not the end yet... I'm planning to get some bikinis for next summer, some tank tops and a pair of those sexy heels.... (read my previous post - I blogged about it!)




Last Friday, which is on Christmas' Eve.... I was bored... sitting at home doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! Everywhere is closed at 6:00 pm!


So, I went online to "look-look-and-see-see"..... Couple of clicks here and there on some shopping website... Didn't find a thing that I like....


Then the "Bath & Body Works" coupon (buy $30 and get $10 off), that was sitting on the coffee table caught my attention....


Immediately the light-bulb went OFF..... I got myself some body butters, shampoo & conditioner, and 2 hand wash.







4 Sweet Pea Body Butter.... 2 Japanese Cherry Blossom....







Sweet Pea Shampoo & Conditioner.... 2 Apple "something-something" Hand Wash....







So, all the above (with Buy 3 Get 3 Free and Purchase $30 Get $10 off promotion), it came out to $30.44 (inclusive of shipping).....


Now, you do the math.... Without all the sale and coupon thingy.... and at retail pricing....


1. Body Butter = $15.00 each (6 x $15 = $90)

2. Shampoo & Conditioner = $7.50 each (2 x $7.50 = $15)

3. Hand Wash = $5.00 each (2 x $5 = $10)



I would have paid $115 at normal retail pricing.... That's a saving of $84.56 ....... WOOHOO!!!!!


Now you tell me.... aren't you HAPPY for me...???? Oh okay, I know... You can care less... cause I'm a freaggin "LOTION FANATIC"..... HAHA!


I sure love my body lotion....

Alright, on serious note.... I have Friday off.... so it's a 3-days weekend for me....


What to do...??? What to do....??? No plan set in stone yet.... will go along what comes by.... but I will sure blog again before the New Year.... Till then.. Arios...!!!!

3rd is A Charm....

I slipped and fell.... while walking down the stair this morning... on the 2nd day of Christmas.


4 steps down to the bottom of the stairs.... and I slipped and fell.... bottom down and hit the floor real hard on my big ass.


Just like this.....







Immediately, I felt a sharp pain right at the tip of my back bone.... I cried for help....


The girls were playing in the den and heard me screaming for help.... they rushed to the foyer and found me laying down at the bottom of the stairs... CRYING.


I was literally crying.... like a baby.... this was the worst fall I have ever had in my life.... and it was a pretty bad one too.... I thought I had to get the girls call 911.... but after 3 minutes of crying... (yes, crying out loud with tears flowing down my cheeks).... I felt much better.... and with the help of the girls (they were both hugging me hard and kept on saying "I'm sorry Mommy.... I love you").... I slowly gathered myself and tried to get up....


I'm still in great pain.... and have taken some pain killer.... just have to wait and see how it goes tomorrow.



Anyway, as promised.... 3rd snow season of this winter.... it started on Christmas day..... and will snow all day today.....


We are expecting a 6-8 inches of snow by tomorrow morning.....




























Butt still sore a little..... so I'm going to lay down for a bit.


Hopefully, I will feel much better tomorrow.

A very short update....



Took the girls out to the mall a couple weeks ago.... to take picture with Santa.






The girls always look forward to this time of the year.... picture with Santa... and they have been doing this since they were born....


Couple more years, Annabel will be in her teens..... we will, then, see if she's still into it....

Had a bad Monday.... but today was AWESOME....


Miracle does happen!


Now, I just have to work around the miracle and make it even BETTER...!!!!

I went shopping today....


Christmas shopping is done with.... in 2 hours.... at the mall.... all by myself.


I also made a pit-stop at Bath and Body Works.... and bought myself some lotions.


Sale is going on in that store.... Buy 3 Get 3 Free.... and I have a coupon for $10 off with $30 purchase.....


So, literally I paid 6 body lotions for $20.... came out to $3.33 for a 8 fl oz..... normal retail at $10.50.... pretty darn good deal...!!!!!




My ALL-TIME favourite..... Cherry Blossom.









2nd in my list..... Sweet Pea.







3rd..... Twilight Woods.







And other scents.... Honey Suckle and White Citrus.







My favourite in their Aromatheraphy collection..... Orange & Ginger.







Ooooh.... smells so good.... it's unisex.... suitable for men and women.... give it a try.







And while I was there in the store.... they are launching a few new scents next spring.....


$1 for a 2 fl oz body lotion..... i grabbed two.... Bali Mango and Hawaii Coconut.







The store was like a zoo in there.... I quickly grabbed my stuff and headed right out.

My friend asked me what did I get with my $50 Victoria Secret's Reward Gift Card....


It's expiring tomorrow.... so last weekend, I placed an order online.....


I bought 2 sweater dresses..... and received them in the mail yesterday.




















Both dresses are on sale for $25 each.... so, all I paid was shipping, handling and tax.


Together with the shipment, VS sent me a catalog too.... smart marketing strategy....


Oh yes.... there are a few things that I already wanted to get.

who cares.... and 2nd snow the season!

I wasn't really that happy when one of my reader rated my Christmas tree this year.


He/She gave 1.... Yes... I was pretty upset.



Now... let me clear this out.... My Christmas tree isn't that bad in real....


It's a real tree.... paid almost $40 for it.... it makes my living room smell good.... my two little girls and I spent 2 hours.... putting the lights and ornaments up.... It was a lot of hard work!


Apart from that, I also completely blame it on the picture that I took using my cell phone....


It was indeed a very bad quality picture...!?!?!?!





So.... last week, I took my Canon camera and snapped another picture.

Well, you know what.... I don't really freaggin care anymore.... As long as I like my tree.... and I think we did a good job... that's all it counts.

Crappy mood today.... had a very bad day today and yesterday.... so, better blog something fun.





2nd snow of the season..... dumped 2-3 inches of snow yesterday in Richmond.....



And Miss Emma was the happiest girl in the whole wide world.









School closed for two days.... yesterday and today because of the snow.... and will remain closed for the rest of the year....








The girls gotta play snow ball fighting for an hour in the backyard.....












So from now on, everytime it snows..... i will take some pictures and blog about it.....


Lets see how many times we will get snowed in this winter....!!!!!!




Now, please pray for a miracle to happen next Monday....!!!! I need it so bad.... Pretty pleaazzze, with a cherry on top!

1st Snow of The Season....

......









We had our 1st snow of the season this morning.... wasn't much.... about an inch or so....



Just much enough to see everywhere was covered with fluffy white snow....


It was VERY PRETTY this morning....



We don't get alot of snow in this Mid-Atlantic region.... Last year, as far as I could remember, we had only a couple snow storms....


Not bad snow storms either.... that would leave us with no power for days.... like previous years before.....








Everytime when it snowed outside, what I would like to do is.... to stick my tongue out.... and lick the snow off the hanging leaves.








Aaaah, can't wait to play snowball fighting with the girls when they get off the school bus....
