The "Kutu" Saga continued

We finally took the girls to see their pediatrician and got prescription for the head lice.


And guess what...???


One of my anonymous reader who left a very sweet comment on my previous post, was CORRECT.

For you English speaking out there:-


Sista.., in my hospital, they usually use head lice medication that contains malation 1% + sodium choride. Give it a try.









The girls' doctor had prescribed Malathion 0.5% - not the 1% as mentioned by this kind reader. (Thanks for your comment, to whoever you are <<>>)






But nevertheless, we are going to give it a try and cross my fingers, toes and eyes that it will works this time.

One bad thing about living far away from home (home for me, of course Malaysia lah) is the constant cravings for Malaysian food.


Char Keow Teow, Nasi Lemak, Assam Laksa, Bak Kut Teh and the list goes on and on.


The other day, I was craving for Yong Tau Foo.


So, off I went to the Vietnamese store on the other side of the town and picked up some shitake mushroom, fried tofu and a container of fish paste.


And I made some semi-homemade Yong Tau Foo.





Shitake mushroom and fried tofu - my all time favourite.





I stuffed myself silly that day.





I even cooked enough for leftovers... Nom nom nom nom.


Well, mom's Yong Tau Foo still the best and out of the world. I can't wait to be home in a few months to savor her homecooked comfort food. Gotta be patience.

Oh, I went shopping today.


At Kohl's.


And bought myself some work clothes. They were on sale 70 - 80% off.


Guess how much I paid for this fluffy scarf..?





Two-Ninety-Nine.





Two Dollar Ninety Nine Cents. Ha!





Just perfect for cold winter weather. Love it. So soft and fluffy.



Must run. Time to get some sleep. I'll show you some pictures of the clothes that I bought today in my next post.
