Busch Gardens was fun.

We literally spent the entire day (on Monday) there, from 10:30 am till 5:30 pm.

Well, many thanks to Adele's son-in-law who got us free admission tickets to the park. All we had to pay was the parking ($12) and lunch ($34+). Oh, and locker for our backpack too ($6+).
The very first thing we did was to watch a 30-minutes Critter Castaways show at the Garden Theater.

Well-trained dogs and cats, ducks and doves, potbellied pigs and a few surprise animal stars entertain guests with a spectacular tribute to the human/animal connection.

I tell you, she is one pretty young lady.

Mr T and the girls were enjoying the show while I was there enjoying my sun tan. Haha!
Then, we walked around for a while and saw.....

a bunch of beautiful pink flamingos...

and a BIG HUGE-ASS komodo dragon. Yikes!
Talking about dragons, the girls had a blast at The Land of Dragons.

Do they really exit? I mean the dragons.
While the girls had some "dragons rides"....

I continued having a good time under the sun.

After a couple hours at The Land of Dragons, Mr T and Annabel decided to go for a Tanganyika Tidal Wave.

It was fun for Annabel and she would do it again in a heart beat.
By now, I was a little exhausted, had enough sun and wanted to sit down.
So, we went for another show.
(Pssst, shows are free in Busch Gardens - inclusive with the admission tickets)
Christmas on Ice.

The show finished in half an hour, then we hopped on the train and off we went for a ride around the park.

Saw some animals along the way and the girls were bored.
So, we got off at the next station and hopped onto the sky-ride.

Ah-ha... Sky-ride was much MUCH better.

Unfortunately, we didn't take a whole lot of pictures while on the sky-ride.
And these two pictures below were taken just right before we decided to go home, to Papa's and Adele's.

Did we have fun? Oh yeah. ALOT.
Would we be back again? Probably not. Cause we will be going to Disney World next year.
Next post: Thanksgiving Dinner and Pick Your Own Florida Oranges.
