Love is like a butterfly, it goes where it pleases and it pleases wherever it goes.
Love is like a butterfly, hold it too tight, it'll crush. Hold it too loose, it'll fly.

pretty quite weekend

Didn't do a whole lot but caught this young lady busy doing something in Annabel's room last night.

She is up to something; cleaning and picking up toys, I hope.
A cute pose for everyone.
Peace to the World. Her face expression could win me "The Best Photographer of The Week".

Saturday, we invitied Eucee and her hubby (a Malaysian-Chinese couple reside in Richmond) over for lunch. Apart serving them Prawn Mee (sorry no picture), guess what I had cooked for them.

Simple table setting for Prawn Mee.
Tadaaaaa.... Sambal Petai with Prawn. They were good. I was being bad again and ate too much.

And look at this girl...

She doesn't like the smell of Petai at all. Typical American Girl.

Celebrities Look-A-Like

Here is a little fun for you guys. I found this website Morhthing.com from a blog that I regularly read and kinda addicted to it for a couple of hours last night.

It's basically a website which allow you to upload your picture and merge yourself with a celebrity of your choice to get sort of a combination look between you and the celebrity.

There are a few look that I really like. Perhaps when I hit the lottery tonight, I will consider to get a plastic surgery done. What do you think? *Ahaks*

IMG_5985.JPG's Face Combined with Angelina Jolie - Cathelina Jolooi (Angelina-Jolie)

The faces of IMG_5985.JPG and Cindy Crawford combined together - Cindy Crawford (This one is not bad)

The faces of IMG_5985.JPG and Brooke Shields combined together - Brooke Shields (Kinda disappointed with this one)

The Bean That Stinks

That's what Annabel called "Petai".

Last Friday, I was being bad. For the longest time, I haven't been craving for Malaysian food and the sudden crave for Sambal Udang & Petai came when I was cleaning out the freezer throwing away some old and expired frozen dinner.

I couldn't remember exactly when I bought the pre-packed frozen petai (not too long, I hope) but it sure taste good. And you know what, I ate too much till I feel so sluggish the next day.

Two packs of Frozen Petai - all for yours truly.
In the kitchen stinking the whole house.
Served hot with steamed rice.
And this toilet will stink for the next two days.

Another new hairdo that the girls like so much. I have to put in extra 10 minutes every morning to get their hair done. I know, now the girls are growing up, it started to get harder and harder.

To be honest, I don't remember when I was their age that I wanted my hair done or braided. We (me and my siblings) ALWAYS had our hair short - short SHORT, not shoulder length or anything like that but slightly below our ear lobe.

I don't know you guys, but back then when I was a kid, I hate to have a haircut.

Showing off her new hairdo.
See her ladybug earrings.
And her hair is too short to have it braided.
But she is equally sweet.
Awww, aren't they cute?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The weather in Richmond is getting chiller - most of the day, it's high in the 70's and low in the 50's.

I love this turtle-neck sleeveless blue sweater alot.
Match with the blue jeans very well and a nice outfit for the weekend.

And this is the outfit I had on today. Time to get all the sweater and long coat out for the winter.

Multiple Short Entries Part 2

Yet another multiple short entries this time. I'm still in a lazy mode, so bear with me. I guess it's the fasting month and I'm worst than the "muslimins" and "muslimats" who fast for almost 3 weeks now. When is Hari Raya again?

Wild Hairdo!

Both my girls requested to have their hair done that way.
It really wasn't my fault but it's kinda cute.
Since it's kinda cute on the girls, so what the heck. I had my hair done the same way too. And all three of us went grocery shopping with our wild hairdo! Please don't laugh.

The Boy Who Always Knocks On Our Door

Yes, that's him. The same old boy who lives a few doors away from our house. Who always knocks on our door and stay for dinner.... and dessert too!
I didn't teach her to do that. That's just my girl, Annabel...
and the apple of her eye.

Never Say Too Young

Kids nowadays are smarter and brighter. Learning how to use computer has become a norm to kids as young as 3 years-old.

Look What I Found?

In the grocery store.
They ain't cheap. 15 fairly big kurma costs US$3.95. Insanely expensive but they are good.

And I Know You Have Been Waiting For This!

Yeehaa!!! 130 lbs. I have lost a total of 18 lbs so far. Sadly to say, I still have 20 more pounds to go. Wish me luck!

*Note: Pedicure done at home by yours truly. Nice or Not...????
