Can someone please help me..?

Several weeks ago, I talked about a special guest that came into our garage and make 'himself' a home.

Yes, this little rascal sent chills down my spine.

Last night, while Robert was cooking some steaks on the grill in the garage, he heard some noise up the roof. On second look, he saw this special guest again, peeping on him out of a big box and eyeing for our steaks dinner.

We found out later the raccoon is living in an empty box up the garage rent-free for few weeks now. It doesn't look pretty good as we are suspecting babies raccoon in the box too.

Animal Control would not do anything and suggested us to call an exterminator. The fella wanted $200 just to set a trap, guarantee or not to catch this special guest is another story.

I have not been to the garage for a couple of days now and my car is out at the drive-way. There is no way in the world that I'm going near the garage until this special guest "move-out" and "head home", wherever that is, I don't really care. "He" has to go soon, VERY soon.

Can someone please help and let me know how to sent this uninvited guest home? Or at least out of my garage. A friend suggested a bucket of ammonia being left in the garage overnight. Another said rent a trap at the local Home Depot.

Look at both of my girls.

I can assure you that I'm 200% worst than their look now. Raccoon and I just don't get along very well. Please HELP!!

Cesar's Birthday Party

When you have kids that going to school, you bound to receive alot of birthday invitations.

We had one today for Annabel's schoolmate, Cesar who lives not too far away from our house.

Annabel, Josh and Cesar - all three are very best friend in the same class.

Setting up the Pinata that filled with treats and candies.

The crowd at the fiesta.

Hit that pinneata hard.

They even hire a clown to entertain the children.

Birthday song and cake cutting.

The best fruit cake I ever had. Too bad it was bought at a bakery up in Northern Virginia.

Picture time with the clown.

Clown singing the birthday song.

The girls had a great time and we left the fiesta right before the storm hit the town.

when you are bad at school....

Occasionally, I like to have lunch date with Miss Annabel at her school.

Today, like many lunches we had before, our lunch was Chicken Loh Mein from chinese take-out. It was so good, we finished our lunch within 10 minutes and had some quality time together to chat and talk about school this morning.

How was your morning, Annabel?

It was not good. I had yellow this morning.
(The teacher grade her students with color; green for being good, yellow for misbehaving - more like a warning and red for being bad.)

What had happened?

I used a marker to write and the teacher said I supposed to use a pencil.

And why did't you use a pencil then?

Mrs G tried to sharpen my pencil but each time she tried, it broke and that's why I used a marker.

Did you tell Mrs G that you had no pencil to write?

Nooooo....

Apparently, she had yellow because she wasn't following instruction to use pencil.

Now you have to say sorry to your teacher when you get back to your classroom, ok..???

Before I left, I wrote a note to Mrs G asking her to do me a favor, that is to send home a note to let me know if Annabel did apologies to her.

Here's what she wrote.

Wah, I was fuming when I read the note from her teacher. Why in the world would she brought a caterpillar into her classroom. Then I remember for the past few days, she has been talking about how a caterpillar turn into a chrysalis, then into a butterfly at home. She learned that in her science class and was curious about it and I think she's trying to sneak the caterpillar home.

Miss Annabel was grounded with no television and no playdates for the whole afternoon.

Besides that, she had to stay in her room and wrote an apology letter to her teacher.

I told Robert I just can't wait for the girls to go to college. 15 more years to go and I'm still counting!

Hey, as long as she is comfortable, that's all it matters.

Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag is an oath of loyalty to the country and should be recited by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart.

Barely 3 years-old (2 years 8 months and 5 days old to be exact), Emma recited her Pledge of Allegiance for the very first time at home. Very impressive. We have one SUPER smart girl.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Once again, the girls were all quiet playing in Emma's room yesterday for a good 10-15 minutes before bedtime. Smelling something fishy is going on, I tip-toed to her room and.....

.... caught her "red-handed" playing with my "secret-stashed-away-grocery-bags" aka "Emma-Poop-Alot" dirty diaper baggy, all over the floor.

This little girl never failed to amaze me with her "little adventurous" everyday.

Here she was helping me doing dirty dishes in the kitchen.

You tell me, how to get angry at this little girl..???

I Saw A GHOST!

MsA: Mommy, I saw a ghost today.

Mommy: Huh! What are you talking about?

MsA: I saw a ghost in our house today.

Mommy: Are you serious, Annabel?

MsA: Yes, Mommy. It was very scary and I took a picture too.

Mommy: (Alamak! Biar betul budak ni. Ini sudah serious punya kes). Show me the picture, Annabel.

Scroll down for the picture.

Warning: Picture not suitable for children under 2 - could possibly caused serious nightmare.

Say Hi to Makcik Tomlah

My work require me to visit my customers every so often and if you do not know the street that you are going, it may takes you a while to find and most frustrated when you got lost and had no idea where you were.

Hence last week, Robert bought a Tom Tom, a Global Positioning System to help me navigated places that I wanted to go.

I named him Makcik Tomlah as "she" speaks Bahasa Malaysia to me.

Here is my new friend, Makcik Tomlah.

Click on the video to hear Makcik Tomlah speaks Bahasa Malaysia.

This morning, we took the girls to watch Diego Go Diego Live at The Landmark Theater, a very old theater in downtown Richmond.

In the car, on the way to Denny's for breakfast.

Wish there was Denny's in our side of the town. We had to drive all the way to West End - about 15 minutes drive.

Daddy getting some Moolah from the ATM.

The girls walking to the theater. What a nice day!

Annabel's shoes hurt her feet, so Robert had to carry her.

Inside the Landmark Theater. Tickets are not cheap - we spent over $140 for 4 tickets. Mahal nak mampus!

It was kinda bored for the adults, well at least for me, but the kids were having so much fun.

Look at the man behind us. Yawning and bored to death, kot!! Haha!

Time To Hit The Gym

As we get older, our metabolism drop tremendously. Living in this beautiful country where you surround with Fast-Food, Mexican food and awfully sweet American-Chinese food, if you are not careful, you can pack in those pound quickly.

I have put on some weight lately and so scared to become obese, I decided to sign up for a one-month free trial at our local gym, American Family Fitness, which is literally about a minute drive away from home.

This is the free t-shirt I received for joining the gym.

Wah, very the fat. Got to get some exercise going.

Just wanted to show off my backpack complementary from AFF.

I had yoga class today and it was very relaxing. Body pump was good too and I absolutely love the cycling. BasicStep (aerobics) was okay but the AdvanceStep was killing me the other day. They have an indoor heated pool and I did a 12-laps swim last weekend. Not much into kick boxing. Zumba is kinda funny to me.

Nevertheless, I like the gym alot; it's so close to home but the only drawback is the monthly fee which is so darn expensive. Not quite sure if I wanted to spend that kind of money every month. We will see.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

When I came home from the gym tonight, the girls were playing in the back yard with their friends from the neighborhood.

Ada gaya si minah senget ni...

Killian (the boy in the 2nd picture) comes to our house almost everyday to play with the girls. Ini macam ada udang di-sebalik batu aje... Hmmmmm!!

Sammy & Freddie

On the left is Sammy and on the right is Freddie. Sammy belongs to Annabel since she was born and we found Freddie at the daycare when we accidently took him home.

I'm sure you can tell the different where Sammy seriously need a total clean-up. A half hour spin in the washing machine with some bleach perhaps.

These two little guys are going to be a treasure for the girls when they grow up.

Can you guess who was playing with my camera...???

Sabar Cath, Sabar..!!!! (Be Patience Cath, Be Patience!)

How do you like Daddy's toy? Weather is getting warmer and with soaring gas prices in Richmond, this cool toy does come in handy. Full tank of gas merely cost $15 and it last for 2 weeks. Anyone up for a ride?
