Love is like a butterfly, it goes where it pleases and it pleases wherever it goes.
Love is like a butterfly, hold it too tight, it'll crush. Hold it too loose, it'll fly.

My Little Rock Star!

I think it's about time to enroll the girls into music. Don't you think so..??

Or perhaps an Art Class for Miss Annabel...??

But one thing for sure that I know I'm going to do is to enroll Miss Emma into a Chocolate Eating Contest... I bet she will definitely come in 2nd, if not 1st.

I almost had a heart attack when she tried to get on my bed with that messy hand. Phew!!!

6 Non-Important Things About Me!

Dawn presented this tag to me on 6 non-important things about me.

These are the rules:

1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

And here are 6 non-important things about me:

- I like to spank my girls' butt for fun and see them running away... Haha!
- I try to go to bed as early as possible but most nights, I spend most of my time in front of my laptop till midnight.
- I hate office gossip, never liked it and never will.
- I prefer to wear long pants to work instead of short skirts - don't ask me why.
- I change my towel everyday. I know it's weird.
- I do not like to go on vacation alone. Who does, right?

I will not tag anyone but feel free to do it.

The Reason Behind....

It took me a while to consider if I should post my picture in my blog. I would very much like to remain an anonymous but it's just unfair for the girls since my blog was created mainly for them to read when they grow up. When I'm not around anymore, the girls can jump right online and read the crap that I wrote about them when they were kids and the silly mommy that adores them so much.

There are also a few reasons why, out of a sudden, I came out of my shell and show my face to the rest of the world. It was a very hard decision but I'm glad I did it.

1. I had made a comment in one of my reader's blog that one should never be too shy when come to blogging. Blogging is no secret afterall and there is no reason why we should hide our face and be an anonymous. Blogging is like a diary; you own it and you write stuff about your passion, your personal life, your friends and family, your work, your hobby and just about anything. Of course be smart not to reveal your SSN, your home address or your Passport# in here.

2. Recently, my high-school friend (sekolah menengah friend lah from same kampung) stumbled upon my blog while surfing. He wrote me an email and said he couldn't find my picture in the blog. It has been almost 20 years since we last seen each other and his comment kinda hit me hard right away. This is my blog and there is not even a single picture of me in here. (Ini tidak bisa dibenarkan, Pak!)

3. I'm making plan to meet with anyone who are up for a makan-makan gathering on my next trip to Malaysia during Chinese New Year. So, I posted my picture here in advance as to prevent any "sudden heart attack" from my dear friend upon seeing me in real. No kidding!

4. To keep my promise to my dear readers that someday, I will show my picture in here. So, here again yet another picture of yours truly.

No, I'm not getting married again. Chooooooiiiii....!!!!

Emma's First Movie

Last Saturday, we took the girls to a movie. Annabel has been to numerous movies; a couple of times with Robert (can't remember the name of the movies), once with me to watch Mr Ben On Vacation (remember my previous post..?) and the last before this was with Papa and Adele when they were in town visiting.

Horton Hears A Who.... (say it ten times and fast... I know it's hard.)

We were the first few people in the movie theater and we got to choose the best seats.

It was an okay movie and you can safely assume that we were having a big time except for Miss Emma. We don't think she is quite ready for a movie yet. Maybe next year. Lucikly she didn't make a scene except the lame request to the restroom. If I had counted, she might have said "Mama, I want to go to the bathrooooooom...." more than 100 times. Okay, I'm exaggerating but still, it's discomfort when you are trying to watch the movie and at the same time you know the fact that she has a portable-bathroom* on her. Gosh, what was her fascination about the bathroom. Got gold in there..???

Pretty impressive for a two-and-a-half years old kid to draw this on a pixter. Did you see the eyes, nose and mouth? Pretty good, eh? Except for the aweful and disfigured face. She could have drawn it rounder and better. Yeah, I know. My expectation on the girls are too high. Blame it on my parent!

Happy Bunny Day!

Mr Easter Bunny was very generous this year. He brought enormous amount of candies to The T's residence last night.

He waited till the girls went to bed.....

.... and these were the candies he left behind for the girls.

The eggs hunt began as early as 8:00 am in the living room.

As it has been said early, Miss A is not a big fan of candy and she ate one this morning, yes just ONE and that's it. Miss E? She had countless of them and loving it!

Oh boy, I can see a trip to Dr Wood's office coming soon!

Happy Easter to you'all.

Beauty Talks & Emiko

A few months ago, I blogged about a beauty product that I have been using for a while - Ginvera Marvel Gel, a facial scrub that removed all the dead skin cell on your face.

Not long after that, Puteri sent me some sample of her beauty products - Skinlogics Skinlogics by BeautiControl. I have to said I love the facial scrub (the green bottle). It polish skin and gently exfoliates dead surface cells which I immediately saw the result after 1st use. My face become so smooth and stay smooth for the whole week. Indeed a very good product.

Macy's (like Parkson minus the grocery department) is one of my favourite departmental store to shop and they are currently having sale which ends today.

As usual, Estee Lauder would take the opportunity to offer some free gifts with purchases. Spend $26.50 and you will get this 8-piece free.

Spend $55.00 or more, you will get the 8-piece free gift plus a 4.2 oz Splash Away Foaming Cleanser (blue) FREE. These will last me at least 6 months.

These are the free gift toileteries bag that I collected over the years. I have thrown and given away alot but my favourite one is the silver one in the right picture.

The closet in my bathroom. Most of them are my stuff and what a mess! Anybody want to help me to clean? I will cook chicken curry for you. Haha!

+++++++++++++++++++++++

A tips for you.

Do not throw this cute empty sample lotion jar away. Rinse with clean water, squeeze a sizeable amount of your facial lotion from your full-size tube and it's perfect for your short vacation away from home.

"I'm three-years old."

I think she looks like a japanese girl. Lets call her Emiko - japanese name for "smiling child".

Lunch Date With Annabel

I had lunch with Annabel in her school yesterday. I always pack lunch for her to school but yesterday, I just felt like giving her a treat and thought a lunch brought from KFC would be a nice one.

It turned out good; she ate 2 legs, a slaw and a biscuit. Boy, she was hungry. I had 2 thighs and a small bowl of flavoured rice.

That lady in blue (far left) is the School Principal. She was checking on kids during lunch break.

There's the Principal again... Shhhhhssss, be quiet!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The girls were very co-operative yesterday morning so I took the opportunity to snap some pictures of them with a bunny bow on their hair.

Miss E loves her Dora shirt so much that she would wear it everyday to school.

Look at her hair. It's all the way down to her waist now. I honestly think it's way too long but too afraid to cut away all her natural curl.

A sweet smile with a bunny bow but when she came home from school, it was gone. Grrrrrrggggg!!!!

No, it's not my pocketbook. Too small and not-my-type of pink but it's cute.

Look at all the cr@p she had in her pocketbook.

1. Unbelieveable number of folded paper with her drawings (cute and colorful drawings)

2. Some blank piece of folded paper (not sure what are those for)

3. A business card from Robert's favourite computer shop (how in the world she has it in her possession. Remind me to ask Robert!)

4. An apple-flavoured lip gloss (I know, she is growing up... Huhuhu!)

5. A FAKE toy lipstick, probably belongs to her sister!

6. A pen (????)

7. A toy car

Interesting treasure that I found in her pocketbook, huh...???? I haven't show you what I found in her school bag the other day. Maybe someday, I will.

Bedtime Routine

This is what I have to go through everynight before the girls go to sleep. A round of singing and jumping on the bed. I'm sure you can tell the different in personality on both my girls from the video. One is like an Angel and the other one is Monkey Jumping On The Bed.

************************************

Easter is this Sunday and the girls came home from school today with a bag full of candies. Annabel has never been a big fan of eating candies but Emma, OMG, she can chow down a bag of candy in no time and will ask for more. Candies are her lover! If you have candies in your hand, you are her buddy and you are good to go.

Well, here are a bunch of houses in our neighborhood on the same street as ours.
Each of the house is so unique and has its own style. These are typical American home and the last picture is The T's Residence.
