Preparation for Annabel's Birthday Party

I'm still upset about the stickers incident and have engaged a special agent to investigate the matter. Either the King or the Princess is going to be in serious trouble. No joke!

On a more serious note, Annabel's birthday is on February 5th, two days before Chinese New Year. To be honest, I have a mixed feeling of sad and happy.

Sad for not being able to go back to Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year with my beloved family this year.

Happy that my girl is growing up and she will be turning 6 next Tuesday.

Anyway, we have sent out birthday invitations to all her friends in the class and the RSVP turned out pretty good. About 3/4 of the class will be coming to the birthday party and we are expecting 25 to 30 kids and adults.


Tonight, we went to Ukrop's to get the birthday cake and some finger food for her birthday party at The Playroom this coming Saturday. Click here for more info about The Playroom.


Ukrop's is one of the locally owned grocery store in Richmond but the grocery price there is a little expensive compared to Krogers.



Look at the juice boxes and chips we bought from the store. The cart was 1/2 full and we spent over $50 just for the party.

We have just submitted our tax return for 2007 and are expecting some money refund from Uncle Sam this year. YOOHOO! Haven't decided what to do with the money but a trip to Atlantic City would be interesting. C.A.S.I.N.O. - here I come!

Gray & Gloomy Day

We had a gray and glommy day in Richmond today.

It kind of overcast wintery day and waiting for summer to come. Just not the most happiest day and I'm ready for my favorite season where birds chirping in the morning and flowers blooming everywhere.

Lesson Learned!

Never EVER leave your donuts around unattended!

This smart little rascal took a single bite on each of the donut, put it back to the container and walked away!

Annabel at Katelyn's Birthday Party

Annabel was invited to her friend, Katelyn's birthday party yesterday.

It was held at a local salon, where the birthday's girl and her guests were given a total makeover and fashion show.

Thank God It's Fredag!

Guess where we went for dinner tonight..??? Nah, it's not another guessing game. You wouldn't have guessed anyway.








We went to Quiznos, another sandwich shop just like Sub-way but Quiznos is a little expensive and less variety.



The girls had Ham & Cheese Sub, Chips and Cookies.

Before we went to Quiznos for dinner, we stopped at Target to pick up a birthday present for Katelyn. Katelyn and Annabel went to the same daycare till they separated and went to different school.
