This is HOME

After living in the United States for 8 years now (Gosh, has it been that long?), I can never get over falling in love with the beautiful changing color of the trees during this time of the year.

So, yesterday afternoon after coming home from work, I drove around the neighborhood armed with my camera and took some pictures.

I have to confess after living here for so many years, I've finally came to realize how much I love this country and this is HOME.

And I can't wait what President-Elected Obama will bring to us and this beautiful country in the near future.

"The best party ever", said Emma

The weekend before last, Emma was invited to her friend, Ms R's birthday party at Romp N Roll, where kids, generally toddlers below 5, can sign-up for classes and activities like gym programs, innovative art classes, and gloriously noisy music sessions. Weekends are usually cater for private birthday parties.

That darn Curling Iron

I was cleaning up the mess in the bathroom vanity and found an old curling iron tucked away inside the drawer. Oh by the way, remind me to ask Mr R. whose that darn curling iron is as there were some blonde hair strands on the brush and I obviously ain't a blondie.

Anyway, long story short, I was being curious and wanted to know how it works on my hair as I have never in my life use a curling iron. It didn't do much to my hair after several attempts of rolling and heating.

I wasn't gonna give up, so I called up Annabel and ran a test on her hair.

And this is what happened when one had never used a curling iron before.
We ended up had to cut her hair. AGAIN!

And that darn curling iron is in the trash now!
