Well, a couple weeks ago, Kohl's (a departmental store in town) sent me a $10 gift card out of no reason. Basically, they are giving me free money to shop at their store.
Being kiasu (fear of losing) me, I waited for Ms Emma to take her afternoon nap today, and then headed to Kohl's hoping to find something worth 10 bucks that I like for FREE!
See, free money from Kohl's - expired today 11/15.
So I grabbed the card, put my heels on and went out the door.
Oh by the way, do you like my heels? Bought it at my favourite store Charlotte Russe for 4 BUCKS. I kid you not!
And with my sissy pocketbook...
... I was there at Kohl's in less than 10 minutes.After 1/2 hour shopping, I found two tops that I really like.
This colorful light sweater top and...
... this short sleeves top.
I absolutely love the collar. Very classy looking.
I can change the look by wearing a scarf around it....
... or a neck warmer.
And the neck warmer goes well with my colorful sweater too.
What do you think?Now, why do you think I said only in America?
Kohl's sent me $10 free and I ended up spending $25.20 in total. I had to fork $15.96 out of my pocket.
See how they do business now. Freaggin sent you free money, make you go shopping at their store and you ended up spending double what they sent you. Only in America baby!

Cath, I like both your tops and heel. You go girl. Kalau kak zu pakai that heel mesti tergeliat kaki. I love their $10 gift card. Percuma. But like you said it is hard to buy just $10. Mesti nak beli lebih. But at least tak ada limit like Boscov's. Get $10 off if buy $25 items. Still, you are a smart shopper to use $10 gift card.
I kalau dpt voucher camtu memang carik something yg closest to the amount but kalau kat VS tu leceh sikit sbb barang diorang mahal and i dont fancy their lotion or perfume so terpaksa jugak beli something.

That is their smart way of doing business. Who can walk into the store and just spend $10. They are sure that everyone will buy more than that. I really like you short sleeves top. By the way, where did you get the neck warmer?
