Yes, I did. Woke up at 3:30 am, decided not to take a shower (yuck!) and out the door I went at 3:45 am while the rest of the Txxxxxxxs residents were still in their sweet dreams.
I know, I'm one of the crazy whole bunch who went out shopping at the wee hours in the morning but look at the deals below. I just couldn't resist for not going out to "just have a look". Alright. I did get some of the stuff that I wanted but not all.
The first store I hit was Kohl's, which open its door at 4:00 am sharp.
I was there slightly 5 minutes after and there were a couple of people already done shopping in that store, walking to the carpark as I walked in.I did get a couple of christmas presents for the girls and the line for check-out was unbelieveable long.
Walmart was the 2nd store I went and the shoppers there were out of control.
These are some of the stuff that I bought. That shop vac was only for $15. Bought one for MrR a couple years ago at $30. For half the price, I just couldn't resist. Yeah, I'm kiasu.Now, take a look at the deals we have at Walmart.
Walmart - open from 5 am to 11 am on Black Friday.
DVD for $2 - dead cheap man.
$7 for the whole set - where to get, huh?
We don't need a microwave but that's a good deal.
Hand towel and washcloth at $1.50 a piece. Great prices but I passed on that.
6.5 feet pre-lit Christmas tree for $25. Ornaments of course not included. We always get a real Christmas tree but a pre-lit for $25 is a good deal.
Toys for $10 each.
PJs - $4 a set. Bought 2 sets each for the girls.
Fleece hoodies for $8 any size. The adults were all gone by the time I got there. Bought each one for the girls.
Jeans for adults and kids for $4 or $8.
Jacket for the family. Wanted to get the pink one for myself but they were all gone. Huhuhu!MrR asked me what I want for Christmas.

Perfume tu, kalau estee, iv always had soft spot for beautiful. Nowadays, I rotate mostly between escape by ck or bulgary blue or paul smith.

wah! u really woke up tat early ah.. i guess the Americans are more hardworking then the Europeans or more like the Germans. the open their shop at 8am if u r lucky and end at 8 as well. on Sun is totally dead n nothing is going on in the city. but now is OK coz its Christmas market till a week be4 Xmas. the ppl get to go there during Sun and open till 10p.m
u r lucky u r not here in Germany if not i think u will die of boredness on Sun and after 8p.m

Cat, I thought I was crazy to shopping at 5.00am but you are much earlier than me :) You get a great bargain on the Vac. Carlos bought one for the basement and he paid over $35.00 for it.
oh!! yea,love Walmart too.I get 4 set of PJ for Mishu at $4 each..too bad the jacket for kid gone!..yes,the wet vacuum is a good deal! too bad we just got one at lowe's still in box.
Hi Cat, both EL and Lancome deals are good.
For EL perfumes, these are goods - Beautiful (love it - so classic), Pleasures (they have Exotic, Delight and the original version - love all), Intuition and Pure White Linen.
As for Lancome, you can go for Hypnose or Miracle So Magic for the lighter smell. Or if you prefer the stronger smell, you can go for Tresor or Miracle.
Those perfumes are in my collection.
