After Christmas Sale

This morning, Annabel, Adele and I went to the shopping mall to return the coat that Santa bought me for Christmas. Instead of exchange for a size bigger, I did a return and bought some sweaters.

You see, living in this beautiful land of America has the benefit of a return policy. When you purchase a merchandise that you later didn't like or may not suit you, you can return it to the store within certain period of time (usually within 30, 60 or 90 days depends on the store policy) and get your money back. How good is that..??? You can't do it in Malaysia, can you?

Anyway, we had a good time shopping around. Everywhere is having sale 60% off original, up to 75 and 80% if you are lucky enough to find one. We didn't buy alot, just a few things that I really like.

Bought these two sweaters at J.C. Penney and both were on sale 60% off original price.

The one to the right was $14.99, and.....

the one to the left was for $12.99. Good deal eh..??

After we bought these two sweaters, we walked around the mall to....

this store....

this store....

this store.....

and this store.

We didn't find anything that is interesting enough to spent money on.

These two funny guys were selling hand lotions and thought I was a reporter or something. They asked their pictures to be taken and hoping to see them in the front page of the local newspaper... Well, sorry guys. Not in the newspaper but ended up in my blog instead. HAHA!

And finally, at this store....

Charlotte Russe

See, see... The BIG sale sign (above) and 50% off (right).

I found a beautiful dress that I can wear to the company's Christmas dinner in a couple of weeks. What do you think..???

Ladies and Gentlement, may I introduce you, the most famous model - Emma Moss... Cute or not..???

What Mommy Gets from Santa..???

Ah, forget about the girls Christmas presents. They get toys, more toys and MORE toys each year. I done with TOYS!!!! That's it.

Anyway, lets see what Mommy gets from Santa this year starting not in alphabetical order.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I wonder how did Papa Santa know Mommy uses EL foundation.

Memory Foam Pillow. Finally, an undisturbed$ good night sleep for me.

A winter coat. Love the color but unfortunately, it's one size smaller. I guess Santa forgot Mommy has grown bigger in size horizontally.

A Sony Cyber Shot 7.2 MP Digital Camera. Not bad. Loving it so far. Takes good pictures. Easy upload to my laptop. Highly recommended.

And finally, my new found love... Acer Aspire 5720 Dual Core Gemstone with 15.4" Acer CrystalBrite display and Dolby - certified surround sound system and a built-in webcam. Sweet!

Anyone up for a Skype chat..???

Christmas Dinner 2007

Christmas' dinner turned out pretty good this year.

Our Butterball Young Turkey was perfectly cooked, brown on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside.

The Sauteed Asparagus with Prawn was nicely done although I think it would taste better if it was cooked with "sambal belachan". Oh well!

Again, no dressing or stuffing this year; never was a dressing/stuffing fan but green bean cassarole is a must and it was good. Not too runny and not too dry. Just perfectly cooked with crispy fried onion on top.

No Christmas dinner without mashed potatoes and gravy in our household and it has to be home-made.

Don't ask me why and for some reason, "The King of the House" likes his mashed potatoes, home-made from scratch, add some butter and milk, salt to taste and voila, you are good to go. Nevertheless, I would say an instants mashed potatoes or a trip to KFC is the best bet.

Here is Papa busy carving turkey for dinner.

Daddy getting his hands dirty washing dishes.

Here are some funny face pictures exclusively presented to you by my little angel, Ms Emma.

Christmas Day 2007

The girls went to bed at 9:00 pm sharp on Christmas Eve. It was the perfect time for "Papa Santa" to sneak up to the attic, hauled down all the Christmas presents quietly and carefully without leaving any footprints behind.

He then quickily took a couple bites of the chocolate chip cookies and washed it down with a glasss of cold milk, complimentary from yours truly.

Within second, Papa Santa was gone with his reindeers to the next door neighbor to finish his work before returned home to the North Pole.

Christmas morning, Miss Annabel woke up at 7:30 am.

Daddy, daddy... Lets see what Santa Claus brought us last night.

These are all the hardwork from "Black Friday" shopping sales till a couple of days before Christmas.
